Richard G Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 from section 307-01 of the TIS 2. WARNING: Ensure that the parking brake lever is fully actuated. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to injury. CAUTION: Do not exceed an engine speed of 3000 rpm in the "D" and "R" transmission selector lever positions in order to prevent filling of the expansion tank during the warm-up phase. Shift the transmission through all the positions. Wait until each gear engages when moving through the gear positions. Do not allow the engine to run for longer than 10 seconds at approx 2500 rpm in the "D" (DRIVE) and "R" (REVERSE) transmission selector lever position. 3. WARNING: Ensure that the parking brake lever is fully actuated. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to injury. At idling speed (750±50 rpm), move the transmission selector lever to the "P" (PARK) position. 4. Raise the vehicle. 5. Remove the engine undershield. 6. WARNING: Beware, risk of scalding when draining transmission fluid. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to injury. Remove the fluid overflow plug. Note: Transmission fluid must escape from the fluid overflow aperture. Install the fluid overflow plug when the transmission fluid has reached a temperature of 45ºC ± 3ºC. 7. If no transmission fluid escapes, refill transmission fluid. 8. Install the fluid overflow plug. 9. Install the engine undershield. 10. Lower the vehicle. 11.
