:rolleyes: please help as i was driving my focus 1.8lx 1998 model i stopped at traffic lights and as i tried to pull away i had and now have a vibration slight to medium through my clutch peddle at biting point ... could this be the clutch on way out or could it be a worn thrust bearing ... ?? i do not have this problem from 2nd to 5th ...please advise ... many thanks in advance ... :(

only way you can tell if the clutch is slipping is to stick the car in 2nd gear, pull the hand brake up and try and gently pull away.. if the car does not stall then the clutch is on its way out.
