Ford Focus mk2.5 jacking/stand points

Hi guys!

Had a look at the jacking picture in the owners manual and online - unfortunately matching that to the underside of the car was a bit difficult!

I have been using the sills to raise the vehicle, but for the front I'm a bit stuck as to where to put the stand.

I was either thinking here, or the bolt next to it (in the picture) as it seems to attach to the frame.

 

 

Can you guys advise if that's a good place?

I place mine on the big bolthead seen in your picture. Not were you have it that looks like a bush

cant really miss the jacking point its indented and reinforced anywhere else is a risk

The problem is you can't fit jack and stands on the jacking point Arthur.

Micro, I would also use the bolt to the right in your picture, where the subframe bolts to the car.  Also, the stand needs to be higher so you can get that locking pin in ideally.
