Bucksend
Hi, I am about to hard wire my dash cam and wanted to ask if anyone knew of an easy to get to ignition fed live? I have a hard wire kit which did not come with the fuse adapter/piggyback end, I just have bare ends. One I know t bolt to the body - not problem. But where can I put the live? I have a 57 plate focus. Thanks in advance, Adam
Micro
I'd buy a proper fuse tap, they're only a few bob and it'll be an easier fit.

Stoney871
As a 57 plate it could be either a mk2 or mk2.5 so depending on which it is will determine which fuse you should tap off. I generally use the rear wiper one on the glovebox board as it is ignition live only. If you aren't sure which one this is have a look at my guides link under my posts when viewed on a PC. I have full listings of mk2 & mk2.5 fuses to assist. Run the earth to any body mounted bolt/screw in the footwell, the mounting bolts for the footwell fusebox bracket are very handy to access.
