Guest
So i was eating a McDonalds in the car lastnight, and i dropped a chip down the back of my handbrake, basically its unreachable. Any ideas if it will go rotten and smell, cause if thats the case I'll be going to a garage to get the handbrake or whatever part removed to get it out lol!! Stoney871
It's so soaked in oil that it won't rot. In time it will end up dry and hard like a crisp. I wouldn't worry. Sent from my SM-G930F

Ian Lanc
Buy a mouse from a pet shop and send it down the hole! Mouse eats chip! Problem solved! But then spend several hours getting the mouse out

Cookey09
I bought a piece for this hole, £12!!!😔 Good idea, just didn't click into place like it should have, emailed the guy he had them redesigned and great communication from him to be honest, still yet to fit the new piece though, strong shapes. Is what it's called. My dad did drop his car key down there... A day into owning the car. He had to fish it out with a makeshift kebab skewer type piece hahaha😂 I did drop a wind deflector clip down there, got that out after installing my new armrest.
Obnoxious
If you're willing to DIY, you should be able to take your centre console off and out. From there you can take out any dirt/debris/litter out. I know on the MK6 it is simple as popping it off, I've read it's not too difficult on the Mk7 either. All the best. :)
