Fiesta black editon winter tyres 175(14) to the original 17 performance

This is my first post in here

Just wanted to say i have finally changed my small  winter tyres 175(14) rims,  to the orignal 17 rims and the performance realy goes down!. 

Full throttle in 4th with the 17 rims is like full throttle in the 5th with the small winter tyre, not to mention the ride quality on our bad roads here in Norway.

Anyone else who have noticed this?

You may have changed the overall gearing.

Check the speedometer readout against a SatNav.

You should aim to have the tyres provide the same rolling radius.
