SteveWestropUK
Seems to be pretty inaccessible unless I'm missing a trick? Was going to get the Nextbase wiring kit that connects to the fuse box rather than lighter socket, but not sure it's going to be practical
iantt
Its just a flap to flip down to reveal the fuses, you need to tap into fuse

I want to hardware my DP220/200 but haven't had the time recently due to health. Also, what fuse did you use for the camera? I was going to use a 5A tops. According to the fuse box diagram this fuse is for 'Restraints control module'. Restraints Control Module (RCM) The restraints control module (RCM) performs the following functions: signals the inflators to deploy the air bags in the event of a deployable crash. monitors the air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) for faults. I just want to ensure from a safety point of view that everything will still work correctly? Also is this feed affected by start/stop of the engine? I'm currently using fuse 23 the delayed accessory power and the dash cam doesn't seem to like it 😞 Mondeo 2.0 2015 Titanium Diesel Auto - Dash Cam Nextbase 522GW with rear camera. Many thanks. pragmatix
I'm on the same fuse in a Cmax and everything is ok in my car,Ii think it's no 78 but it's the same function never had a problem and it was done by a Ford dealear
iantt
It won't be a problem as your only using the fuse box live , as long as you use a piggy back nothing will affect the feed to the rcm.
