Driving on the left, headlamps.

Hello all,

I am back driving a Ford after a 10 year break and I have noticed a real positive difference in drive and interior quality.

I am a frequent visitor to Europe, and I usually take the car. This year I am preparing for a trip to Marseille, coinciding nicely with the Euro's.

I am trying to work out how to adjust my headlamps, previously I have used stickers, more recently the VW I had allowed me to adjust the headlamp setting through the on board computer. When I look at my headlamps I am struggling to see where to put the stickers. I have looked in my manual and it says I should contact a main dealer for more help. I am not sure if my main dealer is going to be able to help me for a simple thing like changing the settings.

Now I do have the headlamps that see around corners, and it is a Mark IV Mondeo, 2012, 2.0TDCi Titanium X.

Does anyone have any ideas how to change the set up or am I best placed to contact a local dealership and ask for their help?

Cheers,

Mark.

If you have adaptive lights then you should have an option on the instrument cluster screen to set the beams to left or right lane.

if you have high intensity discharge lights then no alteration required.if you have normal lights with cornering lights then there should be a lever at back of lamp behind cover
