Wiig
Hi . I have a Focus 2006 MK II HB. I have changed the AC display from the original to a newer model. The problem is the speed for the fan When i turn the speed higher , button , the fan is slowing down , and vice versa. So i think that the wring for the fan speed is opposite from the old one to the newer. Some one who knows what wiring i have to switch ??? The first picture is the original ac panel , the next is the newer one. The pictures is from the internet , and is not from my car , but still the same ones. JW1982
This is a known problem. Ford changed the fan control electrics during production of the Focus MK2. This problem can not be solved by switching the wiring. To solve this you either have to install the newer wiring and fan that is compatible with the new type control panel or you have to build yourself a circuitry that reverses the fan speed signal. JW1982
I searched my old Focus MK2 files and documents and found the schematics for the additional circuitry. I made this circuitry myself in the past and it worked perfectly.
