TitaniumPata
Hi. I have a Focus Titanium x 2007 that has the Sony stereo but misses the bluetooth module. I have found one here in Sweden. But can someone tell me witch part number it will have?
JW1982
A 2007 Focus MK2 has the old 1st generation Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system. This system has modules with the following part numbers: 3M5T-19G488-Ax 4M5T-19G499-Ax 7M5T-19G488-Ax The A in the part number suffix stands for the language (A = English). The x in the part number suffix stands for the revision of the module. This can basically be any letter. Next to the module itself you also need the radio stalk with VOICE button, the microphone, the wiring for the system and some other parts. TitaniumPata
Thanks. I found a 7S7T-19G488-AE. Will it work? The wiring was already in the car. But not the radio stalk with voice button.
JW1982
No, a module with part number 7S7T-19G488-AE will not work correctly in a Focus MK2.

Stoney871
The modules in the mk2 weren't designed to stream. Sent from my SM-G930F
JW1982
That is completely true. The old 1st Generation Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system only support bluetooth phone functionality. The optional Ford Sound & Connnect version of the 2nd Generation Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system supports USB, bluetooth Audio and Ipod. This type of module has part number 8M5T-19C112-Ax. However the 2nd genaeration modules are not compatible with the old 1st generation based audio systems and wiring.
Stoney871
An option for streaming is the Kitsound MyJack bluetooth to aux dongle available from Sainsburys for £15 at present. Chatge it up, put it into an aux socket like a headphone plug and away you go. Supports 2 connections at the same time too.
