ford focus edge Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Hi all, having recently installed some new clocks into my 04plate mk1 focus having broken my old set by trying to fit a blue face (im not a chav honest) but doing this i have lost my milage it shud be on approx 47,000 but the clocks think the cars done 2500!!! any help would be apprecaited Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mjt Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I don't think it's possible to change the mileage. We had to have a new panel fitted by a Ford dealer due to a speedo problem. mjt Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I just put a prominent note of the mileage when the panel was changed in the service booklet. That way I couldn't be accused of trying to mislead anyone about the true mileage. That's also important when it comes to working out when to carry out various service items such as cambelt changes.
