Ford Options Question

Firstly, I'm new hi!

A quick question. My car is due for renewal in a month or so on a ford options plan. If I choose to renew and my new car has a build time longer than the remaining length of my agreement then do I have to give my car up before the new one arrives?

Anyone had experience of this problem and what did your dealership do to solve it?

Thanks guys!

I think you keep it until you actually get the new car, would be pretty bad customer service if they went "yeah, we'll just take that car back and you can erm... walk home? Come back in a few weeks and you can have a new car!"

Speak to your salesman and he should confirm!

It wouldn't be bad service, the agreement has finished and unless you pay the balloon payment it's ford's car.

go into a dealer and sort this out as soon as you can it's more than likely a car will be available in the spec you want or an order that can be ammended is already in the system.

If you're renewing with the same company, I don't see an issue but you need to double check with them (I guess your new plan will start on the date your old plan ends, but you won't have your new car for a little of your plan).
