Drivers seat height?

Hi

I have a 2009 2.5 Zetec

This seems to happen to all my cars, but with only 40k on the clock I am surprised Focus does it. If the drivers seat is raised by the lever it slowly sinks back to the lowest position after a few days, I'm 6'2" so it's not much of a problem, I raise it slightly as it stops the knock when I throw it round bends, when the knock comes back I know it's lowered again.

I'm less than 13 stone.

any way to wedge it? it's out of warranty and 2 dealers can't find a fault.
