alexp999
I can't remember if it says to take wheels off in instructions, but you can do it with them on. It is a bit tight, but is possible as I did it on my previous Titanium X. Just move the front wheels to give you a bit more room to work with at the front.
mikeyd1
Thanks alex. Whats the deal with the drilling part?
alexp999
I can't remember actually drilling anything. If there is a hole needed, I probably just used something sharp to start a hole that the screw can grab. It's only plastic.

This needs to be a reasonably accurate size as it takes one of the expanding plastic rivets. You basically fit the mudflap then pilot through the hole in it. Trouble is the wheel gets in the way even if you turn it to full lock.
mikeyd1
Ok thanks for answer so i cant just do it with wheels on then?
alexp999
I did mine wheels on.
mjt
I also did it with wheels on but it was a bit awkward. I couldn't get my battery drill in straight. Maybe a smaller one would have helped or a hand-drill (which I didn't have at the time).

mikeyd1
Quick update ive hat to take off mudflaps as one caught on one of them small but high speed humps u get in car parks and knocked the plastic clips out. From what i can figure out is that the mk3.5 focus with 16 inch wheels sits slightly lower than my previous cars. Its a shame. Im not having much luck lately. Looks like they will go on gumtree for half the price
