jerky throttle

Does anyone find that when engines cold that the cars throttle response w feels a bit jerky especially when you come of the throttle at low speeds almost as if it's kangarooing slightly, if that makes any sense!!

i always assumed this was because the the air mixture is colder than when it is in a warmed up engine. cold air and fuel would make a bigger bang

I have to agree with you on that. Of course you have to wait for the oil to lubricate everything to cause less resistance too?
