http://fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_focus_6_disc_cd_changer_kit_from_1998_to_2005_f_1085844.htm

Apparently these are limited, so if you want one then you need to get one now.

RRP was £490, now £29.98 (yep, you read that right)

Is it a surprise trying to get rid of technology so cheap that is pretty much redundant nowadays.

How many people actually chose CD's anymore, new cars come with DAB radio and USB functions, most people buy a replacement unit to upgrade to these functions if parts of the original system break down rather than pay silly money for replacement parts.

Great price for anyone who does want one though.

ive got about 100 CDs on something half the size of a postage stamp, its certainly a good offer but even if I had a MK1, id probably just retrofit an MP3 player

If I thought I would be keeping this car for longer than another 3 months then I would buy that, the player in the head unit seems to have a dodgy laser so frequently skips. Didn't want an aftermarket headunit hence putting up with it.
