mustang86
I have another question for the builders and diy types.. We have a conservatory at hone and were thinking of adding a log burner. The roof is one of the plastic frosted sheet panels (no idea of the proper name for them) would it still be possible to put the flue through these? Thanks in advance 馃榿
laumk7
You might not be able to put the flue through the roof if it's plastic as flues generate a lot of heat, weve got a log burner and the flue is untouchable when on. You might however be able to run the flue out of the wall if its brick?

GMX
Whilst you can do it with an insulated flue, you need to get your chimney positioned correctly otherwise you'll have flow problems with an unsuitably sited chimney/flue http://www.woodheat.org/all-about-chimneys.html
