Jon Bhoy
Hiya all, Latest in my car saga haha . I seem to have developed a slight whine when the engine is first started. Not a really high pitched one like a belt slipping,a fair bit less high pitch than that but disappears as soon as it seems the car has warmed up. I have had a slight issue with a different kind of whine noise from the transmission which started last year when the clutch was replaced and disappears once clutch pedal is pressed down but has not got any worse over the year but i know noise should not be there (just scared they will tell me i need a new gear box!) but again goes when the car is warmed up. I know its tricky without hearing the noise to diagnose but surely if it was a bearing would it not be all the time and not just when cold? Any thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated :-)
