dfoord
Just to mention that it's been like it for a couple of months now and today after a long drive back from Hastings I noticed that if I timed it right and pulled away just as it juddered it struggle to accelerate for a second ? A misfire is most likely to be ignition: Plugs, HT leads, Coil pack. Another common cause of uneven idle is the throttle body. Also a range of fuel problems could cause it. It will need some careful & experienced diagnosis to determine the cause. They should first look for diagnostic codes (DTCs), then if none are found, start with plugs & leads. Sometimes if no DTCs are present, it is best to wait (if the symptoms are not severe) until DTCs appear, rather than changing expensive bits on a semi-random basis.
