Adding usb connection to 6000 cd

Hi folks. Just bought an 04 focus flight today. It came with a 6000 cd stereo ( if memory serves). Is it possible to somehow play a memory stick full of mp3's through it? Some kind of connector? I have a kenwood stereo which I can exchange I suppose but it would mean buying the surround and adapters etc. Cheers in advance

You'll need additional hardware. As I read it, that head unit can't "understand" MP3s.

Check compatibility carefully, though.

I'm in the same position as you. I have a Pioneer USB capable HU from my old Rover, but I don't think it'll look right in the Focus dashboard. I'm toying with the idea of one of those Android-powered radios that fits in the same hole as the 6000, but they're 200 clams minimum.
