pringle1987
Hi Guys, I'm new here so I apologise if I'm posting incorrectly however it's my first time! I recently purchased a fiesta zEtec s red edition 140ps and seriously love the car! Puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it and I am now wanting to do some upgrades! Pictures will follow however so far I have done small mods which include: Black/Red gel badge overlays to front, rear, steering wheel and wheels. Smaller radio aerial. Wind deflectors. Pumaspeed R-sport induction. Although the induction sounds really nice I've decided to go down the Mountune route and have just placed my order of induction and all silicone hose replacements. I am also thinking about getting the engine and battery covers and colour coding them within the engine bay! I have some gold heat reflective tape on order to wrap some of my internal parts which hopefully turn out ok! I have some pictures however there will be more to follow when the Mountune turns up! What you think so far?
ThaiFiesta
Looks great. Good move re the induction. Too much warm air with the system you have.
pringle1987
Yeah I realised that after installation, was toying with the idea of buying an enclosure and direct feeding off the fog light but after a while decided to just go down the Mountune route for warranty purposes! Hopefully the parts will be here in a couple of days and can update from there! Also been looking at the Eibach springs and also toying with the idea of wheel spacers to bring the alloys in line with the body!
ThaiFiesta
I have 5mm wheel spacers on the rear but looking to swap them to the front and put 10mm on the rear. That way I can keep the standard studs in place but I still get a slightly wider track. Also looking to go to 205/45 tyres from the standard 195/50s once they need replacing. Eibachs are on my to-do list if the ST doesn't go on sale here next year. Roads here are terrible though, so I won't be going too low. Ian Lanc
Get rid of them number plate bolts will you! Horrid! Some ally Pressed plates with black carbon effect letters/numbers will look good. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARBON-Font-Car-Pair-Metal-Aluminium-Number-Plates-Pressed-Embossed-100-Legal-/252120980649?hash=item3ab394dca9:g:l9kAAOSw14xWGnT9

Where did you get your gel overlays from? which parts were you looking at relective taping? I've done the engine side of the stock air box, engine side of the primary induction Hose and crossover pipe in silver heat resistant reflective tape. I'm also looking at exhaust wrap once I have time to take of the heat shield.
pringle1987
Gel badges came from http://motormodz.co.uk Im still waiting on the silicon hoses so they won't get wrapped but the hard pipe to the turbo will get wrapped as well as the aluminium induction box! pringle1987
After a while debating I decided I didn't like the black induction lid with the Mountune so I changed it to red to match :D Now awaiting delivery of Eibach lowering springs and a remap

I wrapped the entire Mountune induction box and sent the pic to Mountune of which they said it will help shield the heat so hopefully a great improvement! I asked them also why they don't to a top induction hose and they said they don't see it providing any difference so they didn't make one! They did however say that Mountune are currently developing an exhaust system for the 1.0 Ecoboost fiesta!
pringle1987
So today I decided to have a good clean of the engine bay as its going into the dealer on Monday for an ecu flash (4th time) as my temperature display is -- and my air con is intermittent on when it wants to work! After 3 ecu flashes I'd like to think they know what's causing it... Anyway... So nice clean engine bay today ready for my delivery of the Mountune secondary induction hose being delivered Monday! Also have my Eibach 30mm pro springs arriving soon along with painting the brake calipers red. 4 days left until my bluefin arrives :D decided so will see what that's like!

Got the Ecoboost cover on order to finish the look! Last Mountune hose arrives tomorrow so once I pick it back up from the dealer after its flash I'll be putting that on then it's onto the calipers, springs and remap :D Also waiting on the old mans heat gun to get my fly eyes done! pringle1987
So that's the secondary induction fitted and just the engine cover on delivery to finish the look! My only concern is that the breather hose on the secondary doesn't seem to sit right even though it's fully clicked in? Anyone shed any light on this?

Tom-B64
This is looking real nice man! Engine bay looks sweet as. The breather hose is fine. You should see the way mine is on my PRO hose, they aren't quite up to Mountune's build quality
pringle1987
Cheers guys! Now complete with engine cover, just need to paint the logos!
b4zz
looking better with the engine cover and once you get the logos painted it will look cool
pringle1987
So today I did the lowering springs! I used Eibach pro 30mm springs and the result is quite nice! Forgot to picture before however I've pictured it next to my wife's titanium which is stock! What you think?
pringle1987
Also had the bluefin super chip installed and the difference in power delivery is insane comapred! Now I'm not saying that it's a massive increase however the difference is extremely noticeable! Boost and torque arrive much sooner and creates instant lift on the front end tipping you back in your seat more! 2nd gear not only has unbelievable power for a 1 litre it also wheels spins die to the front end lift! Completely different car! Coupled with the Mountune parts installed gives me some really nice engine noise! Just waiting for the exhaust system to complete the package seen as Mountune inform me they are working on a Ecoboost exhaust for the 3 cylinder :D happy days!

pringle1987
No not had the chance to do the engine cover yet as wanted to get the springs done, didn't even get round to painting the calipers in time! The powercurve supplied with the map is shown below however I'm waiting for a friend to put it on his road to give me the exact one for my car!
