the one behind the crankshaft pulley ?

the fanbelt broke on this one and damaged the sensor and wiring plug while the engine was still going

once again i cant get one over here and the ford dealership wants to sell me a full engine wiring loom ! lol

i tried some breakers on eBay but all they want to sell is the sensor

any help i would be very grateful peter

Sadly, no. Most automotive connectors are custom made, and only available in large quantities to manufacturers. I would say your best bet is to find an old fashioned scrap yard that you can visit, or at least talk to, and get part of the wiring harness with the connector.

I suspect these sorts or places are getting rarer now. I recall when scrap yards stored cars stacked two or three high on top of each other, and people would be clambering about on wobbly piles of old vehicles, removing doors, fittings, maybe even complete engines! You would be charged a nominal sum on exit for the weight or rough value of what you showed to the bloke in charge. I don't recall seeing anyone being killed under a toppling pile of cars, but no doubt it must have happened occasionally!

Removing a complete wiring harness is such hard work that in most cases it is not worth while.
