lol if this works ford parts are gonna have a randomly high amount of people asking for very specific parts lol

Its not just Fiesta owners. There are already scores of Mondeo and S-Max owners doing or are going to do this retrofit. I being one of them ;)

I guess that why Ford have put a price increase on the said items since october due to high demand. The module has increased in price by a tenner!

I know this is old school....but to see if the bluetooth module may reset, is it worth trying to disconnect the battery for 30minutes and see if it resets itself and then syncs with the stereo?!?!

Just an idea!

mmmm, disconnect both power supplies, connect them togetheir, then give them both the power back.

Im wondering what software that Ford would need to load/setup, see I'm thinking if I get a module out of an existing car (write off) maybe it be loaded already and just be plug and play or is it that it needs to be sync'ed with the stereo?!

You had a choice whether to buy the car without the spec you wanted. ;)

Didn't work Piggy, thinking a trip to ford to get them to update the software. Just moved the USB into the main place rather than in the secret hole so they don't get confused when i say i have put usb in and cant find it.

I had same thought... "USB, nah, why would I need that"...then there was the finding of the hole...and the idea of a 1tb harddrive with a million songs...me want it!!

Your a star with the diagrams!! Noticed a GPS module there....

shame <_<

worth a try

!Removed! ford being tricky!

...be tricky back....say "Well the USB was working fine the other day, then I jumped in one day and nothing!? Could you fix it for me? PLEEEEEEEEEEASE?! :D "

Worth a shot...take a hot girl with you too, that always helps!!

I do believe we have gone off topic lol.. Im going into Ford today to ask about the stereo software, so maybe today i will be driving home from work with fully working usb

Quoting myself now.. Been into ford and they said they have to tell the car it has USB now, they seamed quite impressed that i had managed to get this far. They havent actually seen anyone do this before, but have been asked many times.

Car is booked in for Thursday and possibly no charge :)

Could be before then depending if they get a cancellation before then.

Why didnt you join sooner - could have used the use of a IDS.

The bluetooth module is under the glove box - two small clips to undo then a plastic bit is able to be removed the module is attached to that.
