Jon12345
I bought a Ford Fiesta Titanium X Ecoboost with 8411 miles on the clock. I got it from SMC Ford in Slough. They gave it a service before delivery. Now, one year later, I have 12000 miles on the clock. Since I live near Tunbridge Wells, I see they have a Ford dealer called LifeStyle Ford. They have two levels of service: - Silver service for £159 - Gold service for £259 http://www.lifestyleeurope.co.uk/ford/servicing-offers/ Which do I need to go for? Thanks, Jon
alexp999
I always ignore those things and stick to the service schedule. Don't forget to get brake fluid done, if it wasn't done last year.
Jon12345
In the document I got when I bought the car from SMC, they said next service date is 13/8/16 or 20911 miles, whichever is the earlier. So I presume this means I am on the service schedule? And if so, which do I go for?
alexp999
The service schedule will say what parts, fluids, etc need changing. Those services are just to attract service customers and often don't change all recommended parts.
Jon12345
Will the service schedule be in my logbook or something? its been a long time since I bought a nearly new car.
alexp999
You can see it here: http://www.etis.ford.com Or the dealer can tell you what is due.
