Guest
Hi all, looking at fitting an exhaust tip on the fez, nothing huge, just something aesthetic really. So i noticed the exhaust is curved so i presume I would need to cut that down before clamping on a tip, also the rear splitter already has a gap which looks big enough for an exhaust, if not, any idea how id trim that down to leave enough room for the exhaust tip as I don't want the heat melting it. Joss max
No need to cut the original curved tail pipe as there are off set exhaust tips available on T'internetz As an example to give you an Idea https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016W2NNXU/ref=pd_vtph_263_bs_t_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DWN4E61PK595QS4Q5VNQ You might find this worth a read http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Your-Guide-to-Buying-Exhaust-Tips-/10000000177404901/g.html

The other issue I have is when i look at the exhaust then my bumper, there is a gap but the exhaust sits really high and i reckon if i put a tip on it will sit squint, hard to explain, maybe someone with a fiesta will know what i mean
Guest
If you look at the below image, a normal curved tip wouldnt work unless i got another bit of pipe and curved is slightly to angle it right inline with the gap...
Joss max
That is quite an offset isn't it Fraser. It might possibly need some extra pipe welded on to it to get it to line up. To be honest it might be better and more cost effective to buy a complete back box inc tailpipe you want.
