Modified elm

Hi, I've been thinking of getting a modified elm cable I've seen a few on eBay but I'd like to know what you guys are using.

 

I've seen this on eBay would you think this would be alright?

lots of topics about elm and modified elm on this forum. Just run a search for modified elm cable. It will bring all post regarding mod elm cable for you to read through

The cable on eBay looks good uk made and modified with all the drivers etc

Thanks for the reply ,I've been looking at other threads and this site has been great on information about the elm. 

 

I guess I have a lot to learn on how exactly the software works, I'm going to order the one I've linked and see how it goes.

I currently have an 08 mk2.5 petrol focus that I'd like to tinker with, and I've just purchased a mk3 14 plate focus diesel that I'd like to keep an eye on the dpf.

Time to get reading :)

Rich you may also want to look in to Forscan as well. It's designed to work over ELM327 and J2534 Pass-Thru compatible adapters,
