Help with Sat Nav

Can anyone  help with this query please. I have a brand new Ford Focus Titanium that I am just finding out about all the extras. Now.... The sat nav is working ok but

I have noticed there is no beep or sound at all when approaching a speed camera. I gave my old Tom Tom away thinking that I wouldn't need it with having a

built in Sat Nav.

Can someone tell me if there is a camera alert or not please. I have looked through the manual but can't find anything to do with this.

Thanks for any replies.

Ron

Hi Rondetto

I have a Mk3.5 from last year, Im sure the audible warnings are in your Satnav

from Home Screen, touch "Navigation"

Menu

Navigation Preferences

Hazard Spot Warning

Options Visual, Visual & Chimes,Off... I have mine on Visual & Chimes

Hope that helps ?

Mine is set to audible/ visual speed camera notification.

Icons show on the map and the audible warning (a spoken warning of 'caution') comes about 100m from known camera locations.

Be aware that any cameras sited after 2014 may not be added to the system though.

Thanks guys, it has been a great help. Is there a way of turning up the volume please?   I have the radio on and not too loud but have missed the caution message

because it is very quiet. Sorry to be a pain but the help on here is marvelous.
