andythecarper Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 ive not long been driving and ive just bought a 1996 fiesta lx, i dont do a lot of motorway driving and here comes the problem it will only go into 5th gear now and then, so i am stuck to the first lane as i dont want to push it on the revs if you know what i mean. Can anybody please help on the possible gearbox problem and how many revs i can go upto before the enginge starts going down hill?
