Greasy layer on interior of windscreen, how to remove?

Hi, the interior of my windscreen has an extremely greasy film, when dry it's normally fine but my car likes to turn into a condensation pool/lake on all the windows. Once wet I might as well be smearing cooking oil over my window, it makes it near impossible to see out and I essentially have to wait for the window to dry which can take 10+ mins basically doubling most my short journeys.

Any ideas? I've seen people suggest vinegar and sugar soap but vinegar I'm not sure about as it's greasy like nothing i've ever seen and sugar soap people either say is amazing or will scratch up my window.

My car is essentially unusable over winter at the moment.

A good vinegar based window cleaner should do it. I assume you don't have aircon as that will get rid of the condensation before cleaning it.

I do have Air con although it doesn't work, dries the air out a little I think, but still takes ages, I'm hoping getting rid of this grease may help. There's a leak somewhere but I'm not sure where.

As mentioned previously - vinegar.  This stuff works miracles - http://www.wilko.com/multi-purpose-cleaners/wilko-original-white-vinegar-trigger-spray-750ml/invt/0335206.  Can get similar products in Home Bargains and the like too.
