Water pump and tensioner pulley replacement.

I am pulling what is left of my hair out here. My 2010 Transit Connect van was making a grindy bearing noise which I found to be the auxiliary belt tensioner, so I bought a pulley wheel and belt off Fleabay to replace them. Before I could get the job done, the water pump has decided to go and is leaking water out everywhere. I have ordered a new pump and coolant mix, but can only pick them up Wednesday even though the place is open tomorrow, and thought I would make a start dismantling the van to get a head start as I need it finished for Thursday morning as back in work. The expansion tank is a bleeping nightmare! Took the 10mm bolt out, but cannot for the life of me get it off the bloomin hook at the back, tried all sorts with screw drivers and everything but it will not come off? What am I not doing guys?

Tilt the header tank away from you and pull upwards. That should do the trick.

It was a nightmare of a job, but I managed it in the end. Thanks for the reply.
