heater fan motor

Hi all, im having problems with fixing my heating, ive installed a new fan motor and new control switch, this didnt solve the problem, ive had the fuse box checked and there is power going to it but not going from the fuse to the motor been told to check the relay but cant find it can anyone please help as not nice at 7.30am thanks

So power to the fuse but not from the fuse?!? Fuse?! Also, check the fuse connection.

Should be a relay, but usually this is very near the fusebox or sometimes part of the fan motor assembly.

Was the fan motor you replaced new??

hi no wasnt new but did work plus turned out the one i took out worked anyway so i changed the switch still nothing so started looking else where and power to fuse just cant find the relay

Mate of mine had same problem turned out was the fuse box itself, contacts and joints faulty, quite a common fault on orion fuse boxes he was told, got the box repaired by auto electrician.

Hey, another thing id check first is the heater resistor which is behind the glove box on the right, its held on by one screw and has one multiplug connection. Its a common fault well worth checking out. Let me know how ya get on : )
