Hello everyone, I hope this is the correct forum to post this on?
I'm having my new fiesta delivered on Wednesday (can't collect as it's too far away) and the dealer is calling me on Monday for full payment via a debit card.
My question is, can I refuse to pay until I can see it and check it over?
Surely if I was collecting it I wouldn't pay until I'd seen it?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've never bought a new car before

Well i would imagine legally they cannot take your money until you have inspected the car. Also if you did pay before seeing the car i would imagine your statutory rights would come into effect if the car was not what it is meant to be. Have a good look round before signing the delivery papers
