Hey guys bit of a puzzler for me

Just purchased a 2010 focus cc2 it seems fully loaded in the ice department sat nav radio touchscreen  etc, when out on the test drive I popped it into reverse the screen switched to a rear view mode but with no feed, I checked around the rear of the car and there is no sign of a camera ever being there. Is this normal? Could it of had the ice system updated with out a cam installed? And how expensive would it be to have one hooked up?

Any advice is greatly recieved

Is it the Ford factory head unit or an aftermarket one?

If it's a aftermarket head unit then you can get a camera that goes in to the license plate bulb holder

Yes looks like a aftermarket head unit so you should be able to get a reversing camera. It just depends on what type of number plate bulb holder you have it will be either a clip type or held in by screws  you should be able to get one on eBay

If it's after market then why does it boot up and display the ford logo? It's unusual ,

It's not unusual. In it's settings, you are able to switch the logo to any other car make you can imagine. It can show Ferrari logo if you want. It's a chinese aftermarket unit. From the first pic, it looks like Xtrons unit, one of the newer ones. Not a bad unit in my opinion. To get the camera working, you need something like this:

Which installs instead of current trunk handle, keeping the handle function and adding the camera. You then need to route the video wire through the car to the headunit. You can find a guide on how to do it here on forums.

A fair few aftermarket radios offer an option to choose a model specific boot screen.

Definitely aftermarket look at the radio UI. Get a reverse camera from eBay and add that.
