Hi first time on so hi everyone one.

now I know this has been discussed a lot but I'm still having problems. I have a 2005 Ford Focus newer shape 1.6 Lx now central locking won't work at all. I've changed battery in right way up, followed steps with learning mode I get the first beep saying it's ready I press the unlock button or any nothing happens don't get a second beep to say it's received the command. Key still starts car and unlocks manually and immobiliser still works. I'm just not getting that second beep any help would be fantastic...

It must either be a faulty remote, or a fault in the receiver in the car. I think I would buy a cheap remote fob from eBay, or even borrow a key from someone with a similar car. Re-programming does not affect the key, only the car. If it still does not work, a car problem is possible.

A cheap key: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Buttons-Remote-Key-Fob-Flat-Blade-For-Ford-Focus-C-Max-S-Max-Fiesta-Galaxy/262360489735

(Though this is a China one, with long delivery. UK sellers may be a little more expensive)
