TimKo
Hi Guys. My ford galaxy ghia 1.8 could not start on a cold morning. It has a new battery which cost me +£100.00. I took it to the garage and they fixed. It starts but not a very vast difference from when the real problem started. the mechanic said he had replaced a relay which had won out with a new one. To cut it short, I have to try start it 2 or 3 times before it finally starts in the morning. Do you think heater plugs could be the problem? thanks
Old Boot
It is possible it could be a glow plug problem if one or two of have stopped working it will make starting difficult. Best to have them tested before replacement they may be OK. If the glow plugs test OK it could be the glow plug control unit, again it will need to be tested before replacement.
