I'm thinking about changing my interior lights to led's, I'm not sure what colour to go for? My top choice is white interior with red footwell lights.

What have you guys gone with? Have you any pics?

thanks guys

My Ti X has dimmable multi colour LED with about 5 colour choices to select. My favourite is the light blue that's similar to the dash lighting on the MK 3.5 or amber.

Maybe visit a local Ford dealer that has a Ti X and see what you prefer.

That's why I'm edging towards the red, as that's what my dash lighting is

Avi I was wondering if my TitX (the 64 plate one) had changable colours.

I've checked the manual and it just says about dimming them. Not the colours.

I've also tried the Ford site but it's like a maze trying to find the information you need

According to Ford ETIS it does.

The control to change the colour of the interior ambient LED is in the overhead console near the sun glasses holder.   From memory if you press and hold the left switch for a short while you can then toggle though the different colours by pressing the same switch. There's also a rotary control next to the button to vary brightness.

Cant find any 15cm but here are 10cm ones
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191991824896
Then I brought 2 of these just for the 501 adapters
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331883896101
then connected 2 led to 1 501 adapter make 1 led long enough to go to the back

Then saves wasting the square leds i put them in the boot both sidesfc8dd5d9c18cd468c5ea7674ce29450e.jpg

What's the difference when it comes to LEDs I've seen white with 2 smd but also 8 is it the greater number the more LEDs they have fitted?

I went for the red in the end, thought it tied in well with the red lighting on the dash.

cant understand why my images post the wrong way round.

Agree with red. Used to have blue on my mk1 but my St has red and I prefer it.

Hi, I've just done my Zetec S and went with blue to match the dash lighting like most others seem to have done.

I couldn't find any connections under my dash so spliced into the wire that feeds the rear overhead light.
