SYNC2 Mk3.5 -"Carrying out system maintenance"

I stopped the car briefly this morning and then decided to move it.  The screen came up with the above message and a progress bar on the screen, so I waited for it to complete.  How often does this happen?

I've only seen it happen after an update, or when the power is cut to the sync module.

It happens after every 24 hours of use. It does it when the ignition is switched off and isn't normally seen. It is rebooting itself as microsoft isn't capable of writing an operating system that can remain stable for long periods.
