I wonder what colours they will have the st in? The alloys defo don't look like usual Ford styling, more Vauxhall or French

There are bits about it I like and bits I don't so it's 50/50 for me at the moment (not sure that colour would be my first choice either)

Those alloys are not to my taste and I think the new ST-line ones suit the car better and it's all abit unimaginative as a whole and they have even gone with a similar rear diffuser as the outgoing model

On the plus side, the new 3 mode system (normal, sport and track) sounds good and if the car is more fuel efficient that's a bonus considering it's 197bhp and I think the seats look really nice

All that came out at 2pm and I've been busy since half 1, typical. Looking at it though I was very surprised to hear about 1.5 3 cylinder, and they can squeeze out 200-ish bhp from that? Pretty Impressive, I think the car itself looks amazing too.

I still think the back of it is pretty unpleasant to look at.

It's definitely a case of evolution, not revolution at the front and sides.  But it's like they lost the will to live at the back.

Still - glass half full - it may be a car that's a lot more handsome in the metal!

I may have worked it out... Is it me, or is there a sort of resemblance? Like a poor man's A-Class, with a hint of dull old people carrier thrown in...

Look at any recent Ford estate, that's where the back has come from.

A good move imo, Ford's saloons and estates have looked better than their hatches from the back for a while.

I like the back personally.

It's the first time I have looked at a new Fiesta and not liked it as much as the previous version

I like the back personally.

But it's not an estate. It's a hot hatch.  If I want an estate, I'll buy a Volvo.

It needs more flair.  Not more dog lugging wagon-ness about it.

I don't mean in terms of the ST, but the new Fiesta overall.

The back is very much like an estate.

In terms of the ST, I like the understated look, I'll see the inside more than anything. There is always tuning and parts companies to rice it up a bit.

Now it looks just like all the backs of the rest of the cars on the road.

The rear diffuser looks like an after thought now and almost photoshopped on the picture showing the rear

The more I look at it the more I dislike it as well

Maybe in another colour it might sway me, but those alloys......ugly!
