Dude1235 Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Hi all, new member here still finding my way round sorry if you already know this ( as it is abit long ) tucked away in local paper FORD found a problem in August and are starting to notifing UK owners now It affects all Ford Focus cars with 1.8L and 2.0L TDCi diesel engines built between 20 Feb 2004 and 31 May 2006 includes Zetec, style and some C-Max range Owners are advised to contact local dealer for fault to be corrected free of charge this follows a specifcation change to engine cooling fan module as there could be a risk of corrosion and over heating that may be sufficient to ignite module and surroundind wiring Well thats what I read on the 11th Dec 2009 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The car was booked in the for first week of october and the work was done. Only took about an hour and good service from the local Ford dealer.
