Liking the look so far! The steering wheel from SS? If so which store did you buy from and what negative things you heard about stratified??

Cheers no my new wheel is from control custom steering wheels they are on Facebook, couldn't warrant £1000 for an SS tuning one haha and stratified maps, after speaking with a few people who got them they had issues with them, but saying that I've since learnt each map you buy from them for an additional fee you data log the car on runs send the logs off they adjust the file to your exact car so the map on my accessport is useless as it was for the previous owners car not mine, so once I have water meth installed late sept I will be getting a map of theirs to try but you can specify how hard you want the boost to hit I'll just ask for slightly less boost torque, I'm aiming for fast useable power hence hybrid turbo not big turbo which starts boosting 4K rpm plus :)

So decat and balance shaft kit installed and sump baffle all went well very oily tho lol

if anyone wants a mod to do please get rid of this 20lbs lump of *****! Hasn’t made any difference to my vibration on idle or running driving and the revs now spin up! Wheel spin in third without any effort straight to red line! Combine this and the lightweight pulleys which I should get after Xmas it’s going to rev like crazy!

also current pic of car, sub strip removed, going to get new bonnet vents TS colour, wing mirrors going back to stock colour, new headlight and taillights on order, new induction kit on order and new boost pipes too, meth kit to be installed in coming weeks, and should hopefully be going back to stock grill sick of my number plate location, bc racing coils and possibly some new alloys to pick up 🙄🤔 watch this space

I’ll do a video with decat to hear it soon

So this weeks uodates, after fitting the new intake system, I went to change my boost pipes under the car, removed the larger pro alloy kit due to them giving me more turbo lag than I wanted ie should be boosting hard 2.2k instead was hitting 2.6 2.7 not idea, so went and fitted JS performance silicon hoses with a Mountune hard pipe, same as before, but I had to adapt the intercooler the TB hose to allow it to fit my mustang TB, didn’t get any photos of this sorry was a manic day

removed my ceuk halos just didn’t use them and far to common now, gave the bumper behind the trims a good clean E335EB5C-74F0-4E39-BEBF-228A173C42B7.thumb.jpeg.450b4a4e3a942e6a530262ea68442449.jpeg

vhanged the tyres over over to the st stock alloys, was enjoying the stock look for a couple of days

Thursday made the long trip to Bedford to drop my team dynamics wheels off to their new owner, following on from that drove to reading to swop my st alloys some cash in return for those and some bc racing coilovers ;) enjoy the new looks needs a good clean tho!

changed the ST badge to match, had to bend the strut brace a little to not rub on the crossover, just need the slam panel and air box lid painted and then to redo the crossover in gloss black VHT paint :)

side skirts removed today looking very stock on the outside :’(

How about going gloss black on the slam panel? I wonder what that would look like. The bonnet release catch and the yellow case around the bonnet support both upset me lol, they aren’t black and they aren’t your new colour either. If I’m being picky neither is the dipstick ring pull and the washer reservoir cap haha. I can afford to be picky, it’s not my car or money lol. I really enjoy seeing all your mods and u-turns [emoji6]

Cheers :) I’m not sure on what to do the slam panel as off yet but I am thinking gloss black to match the engine cover strut and soon to be crossover, I’ve already eyed up the Boomba racing caps but at £200 for the complete set I’ll have to wait as I have more um pressing things that require my money 😂 without let the cat out of the bag I should be seeing closer to 350bhp soon 🤔🙄😮🙈

Na not forging it until I blow it up tbh, it’s one of those it happens it happens, guys in US are running 400WHP and on stock internals so once I hit the power figure I want, I’ll do oil changes every 4K over maintain it and just wait really if you treat it right and don’t get a map which pushes it to the extreme then it will be fine in my view and waiting on prices tbh around 400 mark to have it fitted with new gearbox seals oil etc

Not too bad really in regards to the diff then. Still a 1.2k mod then "/ humming and arring at the moment as I want to get mine forged.

I think leaving it is a little bit risky in my personal opinion. A woman I know popped a cylinder and it took the head with it. I'd honestly look at what price it is going to cost to get it done against what potential damage it could cause, worst case.
