Dealership almost definitely caused terminal issue

Hi, i have a 2009 mk2.5 focus 1.6 16v Zetec petrol, i bought from a bristol stret motors ford dealership nearly 3 years ago, i have extended warranty service and MOT package also, around my service last year my car developed a knocking sound a gew weeks later driving along the engine started to shudder like it was running on 2 spark plugs, i braked sharply and it mostly went away, had it serviced Ford said there was nothing wrong with it (at this time it sounded like a diesel) and if i wanted it looked at had to pay £80 an hour, got it home checked oil, oil was empty,

I took to independent but ford recognised Focus specialist Pumabuild, they have told me sounds like it has been starved of oil, possibly more than once, i paid near £5000 for it 3 years ago nearly, had nothing but fob offs, told by service staff "valve guide clearances and valve setting is your job, its general maintenance" when asking to look at the tapits, never let me use warranty for serious issue, now possibly a new engine.

Is there anywhere i can take this issue to as a complaint? Ford will just fob me off as iv dealt with them before, luckily Pumabuild are amazing, they build and work on only Focuses, and modify ST and RS, The owner may get me a new engine if its twrminal under warranty.

Im now never EVER using a Ford dealership, i love Ford motors, there dealers however are con artists.

Thanks for help in advance, sorry its an Essay well done getting this far. Lol Mike

I assume there is some sort of watchdog that oversees car dealers and warranty companies etc. or at the other end of the scale, you try to prove that its their fault and sue them for cost of repair.

Would be difficult unless you have documentary evidence of these fob offs. They will just say they never said that when confronted.

Sorry for the late reply... yes they will say they didnt do it as id got the car home from yearly servicing twice before noticing they hadnt filled it with oil... now it looks like the botgom end has gone, thankfully the owner at Pumabuild may be able to swing me a new engine from Ford under the warranty... we shall see, thank you for the reply!
