Ecoboost blow off valve?

Hello everyone

I'm new at the forum. Recently bought a fiesta 100 ecoboost. Revving up to 2000rpm while indoors, I can ear a sound/whistle similar to a blow off valve. Is this normal in such a small engine?

Ecoboosts don't have BOV's, but use recirculation valves instead. It's either that or just turbo spool

+1 for turbo spool, either that or there is an owl stuck in the manifold lol. Indoors noises are often heard differently, especially in a multi-storey type environment.
