Hey, Just wanted to see what everyone is considering in terms of performance mods.

As the mountune is (at the moment) solely for the 1.6 petrol I thought that it'd be a good idea to have two categories for other tuning firms to see the spread of the engines a little clearer.

Personally I really really want the mountune performance package! Mainly because my Fez looks the business and I'd like it to be a little bit more trousers as well as mouth! :P That and it sounds awesome. I would never consider a non-Ford approved tuner as I'd be scared of voiding my warranty and I know how much effort manufacturers put into making cars optimal as they are.

Dreamsience hand held remap unit is all i would want, as then you can remap the car whenever you want and then take it off if you have have any warranty issues. Once the car is away from the dealership, just plug the unit back in and remap the car once again!

Dont know how much of a BHP increase a remap would create though on its own?

Anyone care to take a guess?

Dreamscience will be seeing my TDCI in the spring/summer!!

And there was a thread going that there maybe an exhaust being developed for the TDCI ZS, so may look at getting that before remap to aid the mapping :)

Also hope to make some minor visual changes...badges etc...but unless your a chav, these obviously won't help performance!!

I don't think I'll be doing a lot to my Fiesta as I see it mainly as a work vehicle but might it be worth adding an extra choice for tuning boxes which are becoming popular on diesel cars due to the lower cost and transferability against a remap?

Cheers for the responses everyone, I'm quite surprised how many people would consider/are having mods made to their cars. Also, I'm really not one for visually modified cars, but ASHMAN and Dannymk7 both of your cars look awesome! Loving the 18" alloys especially. :)

Really wanna get a map for my TDCI as i really want a tad more bhp. Eibach springs aswell

my plans:

17" oz ultraleggera ordered,waiting for delivery

Eibach lowering springs

SKN full remap (probably not soon because of the warranty)

zetec s rear diffusor

all-round bulb change

full sport exhaust (not sure about that one yet)

k&n panel filter

tint all rear glass

etc.

the first things that are going on the car are the ultraleggera alloys,and Eibach springs,the other stuff will have to wait,those alloys are damn expensive :)

I didn't vote cause you don't have the option there if you first want to see what the market has to offer eg. pumaspeed or mountune upgrade.

I'll definitely do engine mods to my fezzy just not too sure what

im going to cause I live in South Africa. Also im only getting my car

friday, well hopefully.

Future mods include:

12" sub with some splits in the rear and front splits upgrade.

Titanium Bodykit with steched side skirts cause im getting the 5dr.

17" rims but after seeing ash car with the 18" wheels its very tempting not to get that.

30mm drop.

Xenon HID lights.

Smoked Rear Taillights maybe some lamex tint on them.

all round 45-50% window tint excepts front.

Build in navigation/tv/dvd system for sale on eBay (ill have usb also :P )

Ambient interior lights if I can get them

Those the mods I have in mind so long.

SS Powerflow exhaust with decat and 3 inch tailpipe,

Team Dynamics Monza R 205 40 17 satin black with blue line,

Gaz fully adjustable shocks lowered 35mm,

Hispec 300mm 2 piece vented 4 pot front brakes,

Running 2 tuning boxes,

Mods to come.

Garrett hybrid turbo with modded manifold,

I have this at the moment but have not had time to fit them.

yeah i have done and have had them for a while now 4 months, no messages on the dash or anything. I've just finished installing a h7 HID Kit on my fiesta and it looks sweet i must say.
