Electric fan not cutting in

Hi just noticed when my car engine gets warm the electric fan doesent kick in, ive got a 1.8dlx fiesta mk4. any one had this problem.

Hi,

What do you mean by warm? Were is the needle on the temp gauge

Hi take the car for a drive about 5-10 miles,  temp gauge reading over half way.

Being electric, the fan will only cut in, or should only cut in "if" your engine overheats. Years ago when fans were connected using a "fan belt" they ran as long as your engine was running so u shouldn't expect to see your electric fan running anyway!
