Link: http://xtrons.co.uk/head-units/custom-special-car/car-make-a-k/ford.html I have a 10" HD screen in my roof made by xtrons and it's 100% Guide To fitting 10" HD Flip Down Monitor Focus Mk2 & Mk2.5 Click Here Ive only heard good reviews on them but its worth mentioning to you aswell that; if the sound wasn't to your satisfaction; an aftermarket amplifier would bypass the headunits amplifier aswell by taking audio to the amplifier via low level RCA cable. shiwarrior
Thanks Lenny Got a response from Connect2 and this is what they said : Hi , Please see the response from my tech team – We do accommodate a double din for the ford “island” radios. They can use either the CTKFD52 installation kit: http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTKFD52 or make it up in components: http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CT23FD09 + http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTSFO002.2 + http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CT27AA01 + http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTMULTILEAD.2 Hope this helps Regards Connects2 what do you make of this ? would a 7" screen pioneer fit ? or another stereo ? thanks muchly

Lukeyboy
Hi there My friend has an xtrons and thinks it's really good. I recently got a 2nd hand dynavin n6 off eBay for my Focus mk2.5, it looks good and works well but it kept draining my battery, wouldn't turn on and off with the ignition, and the radio reception wasn't the best but got better the closer to London I got, Ive taken it out and put the standard sony back in now. Shame though because the sat nav worked well, and you get full control of your iPhone and iPod. An installer came out and said he thinks the canbus might be faulty, I'm not sure if it's just wired wrong. Think I'll just leave the standard one in now.
