I think there will be one possibly haha. It's tough, everyone THINKS that one will be launched next year or so but Ford's official stance was no they won't but that was due to the recession, I also think that was before the scrappage scheme? So I would say yes personally.

last visit to Ford collage one of the tutors was telling us abut cars coming out next year and we asked about the ST/RS Fiesta. He said he had SEEN one. Not a fully body kitted one etc but a fiesta that looked standard with a 1.6 Petrol Turbo (Poss the Ecoboost) engine bolted in. He was told it was a test model for the performance Fiesta. So sounds good

yeap, in my country there are a few people claiming that they know an insider (lol) who actually saw a fiesta with recaro seats and everything being developed in germany.

Everyone believes that within the new year , the mk7 fiesta st will be ready along with ecoboost engines (perhaps 1,6 l , turbo producing 160-180 bhp) and even double paddle gearbox (omg! )

Dont know what to expect....after all, we are discussing about ford so everything is possible (or impossible) for them....

Its makes so much sense to make it, i mean look how many vxr corsas, and clio 172,182,197s are about. Would be a really popular car i think

Definitely! (and not forgetting the Clio 200 either, my brother has one and it's lovely!)

IMO Ford haven;t done anything decent for years. Even the Focus RS is a disappointment in my eyes, but i'd still have one

Ford need to maximise on the success of the new Fiesta and make a really hot version, SOON!
