Focus Zetec Navigator Sat Nav

Hi

I bought a 63 plate zetec navigator focus estate 2 weeks ago and love it! However I seem to have a problem with the sat nav audio..the lady just won't speak to me!

I have pressed the mute button on and off.. nothing.

I have tried to guess when she is speaking and changed the volume control... nothing

I have pressed 'info' midroute when she is meant to repeat the last instruction and played with the volume then....nothing

I have checked the nav audio mixing setting which is set at +4.. still nothing

I know the lady works as she happily lets me make calls etc.. she just seems to have a problem giving directions!

The sat nav itself works perfectly and I have even wondered if there is meant to be audio at all but decided that surely there must be! There is no sound at all... not even a tiny hint!

Can anyone help me at all?
