Different instrument cluster

Hi,

I would like to swap my blue light instrument cluster for a different one.

However I am being told that the new one needs to be coded to my car.

What does this mean?

Is this something I can do myself?

If so, any advice would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, my car is a 2016 titanium x ecoboost.

The ECU, clocks and transponder are linked. Only ford can code clocks. Not worth doing at all

You could get someone like SJconversions to modify your existing one though
