As per title . Possible droplink issue

Only had the car a couple of weeks

2008 diesel

No advisories on mor 3 month ago

Car drives fine . No vibration no pulling to one side  ... come to small bumps in road  can hear a knock type noise on passenger side front. Spring seens ok

As though some  thing is loose .?

Obviously with out seeing it / hearing it its hard to 100 % diagnose on a forum

Any advice would be apreciated

How easy are the mk 4 ones to change

Any one local may be able to have a quick peek 😉

Thanks

Dave

I don't have the same car but have changed drop links on many other cars over the years its usually easy (sods law says that there is always one that isn't) . All you need is the correct spanner or socket size and an Allen key(to sop the joint turning round when undoing or tightening the nut back up).Take you about half hour each side. When you have wheels off you have already done the hardest part. It often is the drop links as you go over bumps they rattle and bag a bit if it is them the noise will only get worse over time. If it is them when you take them off the joint is usually well worn and in a bad case falling a part you cant miss it. They are usually quite cheep to buy.It could also be the track rod ends or rubbers get a big bar and rag them a bit to see if there is any  major movement.
