JW1982 Posted May 28, 2017 Share Posted May 28, 2017 The original wheels are painted. You can basically use every wheel cleaner as long as it is acid free. Cheap wheel cleaners may contain acids which can cause damage to the paint after extensive use. Personally I never use a wheel cleaner. I apply a layer of wheel wax about twice a year which makes cleaning a lot easier. I just use a decent car shampoo to clean my wheels. It you might need a fallout remover tar remover then acid free clean. Finally polish and wax.
